Sterling Sunrise

Sterling silver was the hue of the day this morning at... you know where, the beach! The silver tones just captured my attention so I had to share.
It was lovely, refreshing, and a pure pleasure to be there. With the reflection we even got double the clouds too. Joy!

Sunset... Sunrise

I'm one of these weird people who is always looking for the beauty in things. Well, the timing was just right last night and even though I was at work and taking the trash to the dumpster, I had to grab my iPod and take these photos of the stunning sunset.
Then this morning at the beach I was greeted with a lovely sunrise and fabulous clouds overhead.

So, I guess I don't really need any rose-colored glasses, do I? Life is good!

What happened to March?

Holy Toledo... here it is April already and somehow I missed posting on this little blog for the whole month of March. I'm suspecting the March winds blew all my thoughts away, maybe?
Here are a couple of make-up-for-lost-time photos. One with our winter birds huddled together, and probably the last of the skimmers until next December or January. Can you find them? Three with beaks tucked under their wings at top of photo just left of center. One bottom center with black wings, unlike his gray-winged gull friends.
The clouds were wild and scattered on this particular day and showed lots of variety... never a dull moment.
And finally, a sunrise again. It has been a while since I've been waking before the sun was up but nice to get back to the roll-out-of-bed then hit the beach routine again.
Happy April, happy spring — happy, happy everything!
